Privileges of Members
The ordinary and life member shall have the right to:
Participate in all the activities and management of the society.
Receive all publication of the society.
Vote according to the constitution of the society.
Any other privileges conferred by the constitution of the society.
The Associate and Honorary members will have all the rights mentioned above except the right to vote or to contest election for any post.
Termination of Membership
Failure to pay the subscription within two months of the due date for renewal of membership at respective chapter.
Committing a breach of discipline by violating the rules and acting in a manner prejudicial to the interests of the society. Matter be referred to chapter of which, he is a member.
Membership can be terminated by the Executive Committee of which, he is a member.
Any member whose membership has been terminated shall lose his rights and privileges as a member
Procedure for Restoration of Membership
In case of non-payment of fee, the membership can be restored after payment of all outstanding dues.
In case of conduct being detrimental to the cause of the Society, the Executive Committee may restore the membership after a written assurance by the member.
In case the membership is not restored by the Executive Committee, the member shall have the right to appeal to the General Body of the Chapter, which by a majority of 2/3rd of the members present, may restore the membership.
Once terminated the member can't challenge the decision of general body in the court.
